"But then gravity came into play......plummeting from the heavens like a falling star downward towards Mother Earth's embracing arms, I cry out in horror.....Reaching out, I realized the cold hard truth that we call reality.......we are but mortal....although we dare, we remain rooted to the ground....too terrified to fly for fear that the sun will expose the naked truth of ourselves....In our ignorance, we have forgotten how to dream of better things, how to hope for a better tomorrow, and most importantly, how to believe in ourselves....In short, we have forgotten how to fly...we've accepted our fates and have submitted our wills to the forces of gravity...we lie with broken wings in the eerie silence of darkness....but I have not forgotten....although I walk these hallow grounds, I remember flying amongst the stars....I have vowed to break these chains that bind me to this earth and take wing once more...Although my weary heart bleeds, my bones creak and groan as I trudge onward, and my lungs cry out gasping for air with each step I take, I will fly once more...."

This is what happens when you don't have caffeine. Your mind starts acting funny, but in a good way. This is a rough draft for a story I'm creating. Advice and comments are as always welcomed. It's winter break, which means I will not be able to post new artwork as my scanner is in my dorm, but it means that I can work on my stories and may perhaps create a sculpture or two.
